Troy is a Colorado native from Erie, Colorado. He had made the move up to Grand County in 1998 and shortly thereafter started Big Valley Construction in August of 2000. Troy has been married to his wife Judy for over 27 years and has two children Logan & Tanner, who were born and raised in Grand County. When Troy is not working at Big Valley Construction, you will usually find him getting his hands dirty by working with cattle, horses, or building a new project on one of the family ranches. Troy also enjoys an afternoon out with family and friends on the boat.

Rob moved from the Front Range of Colorado to Grand County in 2003 to become business partners with his brother Troy. Grand County has been an amazing place for him to raise a family; wife Angela and two children, Delayne and Gavin. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors with his family, while ranching, boating, snowmobiling and hiking.

Christine is a native to Grand County who has grew up and lived here since 1973. As a homemaker, she raised two daughters until they started school. Christine then joined the BVC team in March of 2003. She started out slow with accounting, insurance, and payroll. Now she is in charge of all accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and assisting the Co-Owners. She has also been a board member with the Grand County Builder's Association since 2016. Christine thoroughly enjoys the construction industry and has been a part of a lot of growth & changes in her 17 years with BVC.

Raised in Grand County, Jeremie is a sports enthusiast with collegiate careers in football, baseball and alpine skiing. After graduating from Western Colorado University, Jeremie began the process of design/build on his own home with his future wife, Sandy. Jeremie and Sandy have two children, Jackson and Addyson. He continues his passion for sports as a spectator of his children’s sporting events including 4-H, soccer, volleyball, baseball, football, wrestling and basketball; often traveling to events for club tournaments and matches. In his free time, he enjoys home projects, camping, hunting and working around his family’s hobby ranch raising swine, chickens, turkeys, upland fowl and cattle. Jeremie is the President of the East Grand Gridiron Club, director of East Grand Youth Football and the Swine Superintendent for 4-H Middle Park Fair and Rodeo.

Joe has lived in the mountains of Colorado and Northern California for over 25 years, with a total of 7 years in Grand County. He came to Colorado from Boise, ID to attend Colorado College and the University of Denver for graduate school. He met Kayleen in Denver and they quickly moved to the Vail Valley for “one season to ski”, but it turned into a career for Joe in real estate development managing a variety of mountain projects for companies like Vail Resorts and East West Partners. They have two young adult children, Robert and Kendall, who have kept them busy with their sports and activities. When not working, Joe enjoys spending time with family and friends skiing, hiking and golfing. Joe believes that honest communication is essential to creating a productive building experience for clients and everyone involved. He is grateful to join BVC which holds the same values.

After earning his Bachelor of Architecture, Peter started working with Big Valley to gain building experience. Seven years later he's still learning and finding ways to use his creativity and skills in an unexpected direction. Since he started snowboarding in 1992 as a boy on icy Minnesota hills, it was always his dream to take that passion to the Colorado mountains, and now he's living that dream to the fullest.

Bartosz “Bart” Koczera is a project manager and engineer at Big Valley Construction. As a leader within the Big Valley team, Bartosz is responsible for the estimating, planning, and execution of an array of building processes throughout the company. Bartosz has been a Grand County native of over 26 years, with strong European roots originating in Krosno, Poland. He uses his local knowledge, education, and experience to lead the BVC team through every commercial & residential project, no matter the complexity. Bart holds an excellent track record of strong working relationships with owners, architects, and engineers, resulting in thriving construction experiences. Outside of work Bartosz appreciates his time on the water through boating & fishing or finding pleasure while snowmobiling in the winter months.

Zach is a Colorado native from Littleton, Colorado that moved up to Grand County in 2018. With a strong connection by visiting Grand lake as a child on the weekends, it had always been Zach's dream to live the mountain lifestyle full time. In his free time, you will either find him on the river fly fishing, boating, spending time with family, or on the snow snowmobiling and snowboarding. Growing up around construction with his dad’s custom home business and with CSU having a respectable construction program, he decided to pursue a career in the construction industry.

A Colorado native, Greg moved to Grand county with his wife Heidi in 1988. Beginning his construction career as a laborer, Greg had experienced all aspects of residential construction. His favorite thing to build is relationships. Greg enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and spending time with family.

Kent moved to Grand County in 1960 and returned after graduating from WSC to join his parents & brother building custom homes. He and his wife Holly got married in 1979 and have 2 girls, Meagan and Ryndi. Kent has lived and loved Grand County for as long as he can remember; and will stay as long as skiing, biking, lakes, & backcountry are out the back door.

Greg has lived in Grand County since he was 11 years old; his parents had a ranch outside of Grand Lake. He lived in Denver for 10 years, where he met his wife and attended A&P school. He worked on Lear jets at the old Stapleton Airport, but when he and his wife were expecting their first child, they decided to move back to Grand County. They owned and operated a snowmobile dealership and rental business while their two boys were young. Greg has always had an interest in construction and started building houses during the summer months. When Greg is not working, you will find him enjoying his family, camping, hiking, snowshoeing, and tinkering in his shop.

Born and raised in Littleton, Colorado, Geoff moved to Grand County in 1990 to ski for the season; he never returned to city living. Skiing has always been a big part of his life and he continues to enjoy skiing with his daughter’s Marie and Ally. Geoff’s wife Yolanda is not an avid skier so as a family they enjoy snowshoeing in the winter, hiking in the summer and spending as much time as possible on Lake Granby with family & friends. Geoff started his career in construction as a framer; over the next several years he worked for a few different “start to finish” builders by framing, siding and learning about all aspects of home building. He owned a framing company that constructed several homes in Grand County. Geoff became a field superintendent for a home builder in 2002 and a construction manager for a high end custom home builder from 2007 to 2010. He continued as a custom home project manager until December of 2018, when he joined the Big Valley Team as a mixed-use/commercial superintendent.

Mark has been building since high school by working as a trim carpenter, installing hardwood floors/tile, and remodeling homes. He started a full time career in construction in 2003 and moved his young family from Nebraska to Grand County in January of 2004 to pursue a dream of owning a business building log homes & living in the mountains. He was given an opportunity to join the Big Valley team in January of 2019 as a commercial site superintendent. Mark and his wife Stephanie have enjoyed 30 years of marriage with 3 awesome kids & now 3 grand kids. When not on the job site, Mark enjoys working on personal projects with his tools, playing music and anything that gets him in the woods & on the water with his family and friends.

Michael, originally from Iowa, moved to Colorado in pursuit of the spectacular mountain and lake lifestyle. He has been in the construction industry for 31 years and is proud to have landed at BVC's family based & professional company. In his free time, he has a love for rebuilding classic muscle cars and motorcycles.

Dave first arrived in Grand County in December 1993 to ski bum for the season. He met his wife, Stefanie, that first winter and they were married at Devil's Thumb Ranch in 1996. They have two daughters, Georga and Adelaide, and have happily called Grand County home for many years.

Dave has worked in construction since 1996. After gaining experience under some long-time local builders, he went out on his own and was a General Contractor for nearly two decades, specializing in custom homes. Dave’s building philosophy lies in the balance between exceeding the client’s wishes and meeting a project’s logistical parameters like budget, timeline, quality, and efficiency. Dave is personable and truly values open communication with his clients -- many of whom have become great friends.

When he’s not at work, Dave enjoys skiing and ice hockey in the winter and boating and camping with his family in the summer. Dave loves to travel, especially to places with good waves and sandy beaches.

Mark started in construction in the mid 80’s in Phoenix, he later moved to Colorado in 1997. He comes to Grand County from the Roaring Fork Valley, where he framed custom homes in Aspen. In his free time, he enjoys white water rafting, snowboarding, downhill biking and hanging out with his dog Gunner.
