“The entire Big Valley team did an outstanding job on our new home. Troy, the owner, was very helpful at the beginning of our project, meeting us at our land and giving us recommendations on placement, type, etc. He recommended an awesome architect (Brian Adams of APEX architecture out of Steamboat Springs, CO) as well. Once the plans were set, we were assigned a terrific project manager and an outstanding site foreman for our job. Mike Dixon, our project manager kept us posted every step of the way, he was extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of our job, and was very responsive to our many phone calls and emails. Greg Gardner, our site foreman ensured all the details were taken care of, and because we were in a different state, Greg uploaded pictures two or three times a week so we could monitor the progress from 1,000 miles away. Greg addressed every concern we had quickly and efficiently, and brought to our attention on more than one occasion odd elements that after talking it out and looking at pictures, we were able to "tweak". Everyone at Big Valley is extremely professional, and the knowledge of the building process from soup to nuts is outstanding. They started the build on time and ended on time. While we were one of their smaller projects, they were still very conscientious about our budget and addressed every concern we could have ever had. Every time we visited the job site, whether it was planned or not, the site was very very clean, which said a lot to us. Their trades produce the highest quality work as well - corners are mitered with precision, the tile work is perfect, the wood floors are perfect, the lighting and electrical was installed just as we wanted it. I would highly recommend Big Valley Construction to anyone looking to build a high quality custom home.”
